SNAP Circle mobile application also aims to feature the Jockey Club ifva Everywhere – ifva Carnival (Organised by Hong Kong Arts Centre and exclusively funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust), the first local outdoor moving images festival took place at the Event Space of Hong Kong Observation Wheel, Central, on September 2016.
Concept driven by Bullet time
Bullet time is a visual effect or visual impression of detaching the time and space of a camera (or viewer) from that of its visible subject. It is a depth enhanced simulation of variable-speed action and performance found in films, broadcast advertisements, and realtime graphics within video games and other special media. It is characterised both by its extreme transformation of time (slow enough to show normally imperceptible and unfilmable events, such as flying bullets) and space.
Game Flow
Before start, user have to set up how many players involved in the game. Once connected, positions of player will be shown on an illustrated diagram. Sound alerts will be triggered when all players completed the connection. Once connected, camera of all players will be synced in order to take a 360 degree gif. Host can now capture picture in advance in order to make sure the ideal positioning and confirm shooting.
Social Engagement
In order to enhance the user engagement, the interactive app experience designed for event social engagement and marketing of the carnival. User can share straight to Facebook and Instagram from SNAPCIRCLE App.
